Pretty in Pink: A Backyard Wedding with Relaxed Elegance
Dylan and Brooke have just melted our hearts with their pretty backyard wedding complete with tacos, modern shabby chic and 50 shades of pink. Thoughtful at its core, their wedding encompassed them, and their overwhelming joy is just contagious. We’re obsessed with the vintage furniture repurposed in the decor (how cool is that ceremony backdrop!), and mad props to their creative dessert display with doughnut skewers, cupcake compartments and a petite glazed terrarium. Let’s dive in!
Rona Reithmayr coordinated this fab laidback soiree, and we’re pretty confident the day was as ***flawless as it looks!
This plush velvet goodness from Pretty Vintage Rentals made our hearts skip a beat. But then again, so did all the vintage furniture!
The bride’s lovely mother did her hair, and we may have gotten teary-eyed thinking about this special moment. Casey Robinson is the gal behind the fab makeup artistry, and she’s created looks that are simultaneously natural, effortless and red carpet worthy.
From the bride: The main theme that I was going for on our wedding day was relaxed elegance. I wanted to make sure we did our best to not let anything take away from the point of that special day. So for me, that meant don’t go crazy on the flowers, don’t break our bank on a venue, and don’t get too caught up in the ‘perfection’ of the day. We of course wanted it to be beautiful, but we wanted the foundation of that beauty to be our love and our story and felt strongly that if we made that our focus, the rest would then fall into place. And boy did this ring true. We opted for a backyard wedding with a taco truck as the caterer and margaritas (our favorite) as our signature drink, accompanied with beer and wine for our non-tequila loving guests. Each and every one of our vendors not only provided amazing services, but showered us with love and support throughout the process. You might be thinking, “love and support from a vendor?!” and trust me I know it sounds funny, but gosh we were so impressed and overwhelmed by it. Each and every one of them was so genuine and was truly there to make sure our day was as beautiful and perfect as possible.

These are lovely photos! Do you mind sharing where the bride bought her dress? It’s stunning.
I was wondering if you knew where she got her dress? I can’t find anything even close .
