Industrial Wedding in Toronto with an Enchanted Forest Reception
This industrial Toronto wedding sets a new standard when it comes to weddings that blend urban charm with ethereal elegance. Held in one of the city’s most iconic warehouse venues, the celebration seamlessly paired sleek industrial details with an enchanting forest-inspired reception. If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels modern yet magical, this event is guaranteed to inspire. Thank you to Mango Studios and Sweet Woodruff for sharing your beautiful work here!
From the photographers, Mango Studios: Everything about Sirini and Nesakan’s beautiful Fermenting Cellar wedding in Toronto just screams romance! Sirini and Nesakan had been together for over 10 years and were planning their wedding for half of it. They were so meticulous in their decor details, and I loved how each piece had a reason or rhyme for being there.
The Venue: Urban Charm Meets Natural Beauty
Toronto’s reputation for its diverse and unique wedding venues shines in this event. The couple chose a renovated industrial space in the heart of the city, complete with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and oversized windows that flooded the room with natural light. This blank canvas provided the perfect backdrop for their creative vision.
Design Details: Industrial Elegance
The design leaned heavily into the industrial aesthetic, with minimalist furniture, metallic accents, and moody color palettes. Black and gold tones were balanced with lush greenery and soft floral arrangements, creating a juxtaposition of hard and soft elements. The tablescapes featured dark wood tables, modern flatware, and romantic candles to add warmth to the space.
Their ceremony backdrop is definitely a show stopper and is really one of a kind. We were obsessed with taking pictures of it. However, the most touching part about their wedding day was the fact that it was so crystal clear how genuinely in love they are and I loved how they just exuded happiness in their pictures. Their story began at the local McDonald’s, where Nesakan used to work. He would leave messages to Sirini on receipts when she would check out, and when it came to their wedding vows he wrote his notes on a McDonald’s receipt! It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
A Toronto Wedding Dream Team
The success of this industrial Toronto wedding wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible team of vendors. From the visionary wedding planner who brought the couple’s ideas to life, to the talented florist who transformed the venue into an enchanted forest, every detail was expertly executed. And, of course, the photographer captured every unforgettable moment to perfection.
Toronto’s industrial venues offer couples the chance to create a truly personalized celebration. With their spacious layouts and urban charm, these spaces are ideal for adding unique design elements and unexpected surprises. Whether you’re drawn to modern minimalism or want to add a touch of whimsy like this couple did, an industrial Toronto wedding offers endless possibilities.
Sirini and Nesakan mentioned they loved natural light so it’s no surprise they chose our team at Mango Studios. I was inspired by their love of sunshine when shooting their wedding day. You can find the most flattering light only if you know where to look for it, so I based all my decisions on choosing their portrait locations solely on the quality of light. The result is airy wedding photos, filled with that magical afternoon glow. The party was so fun to photograph! I hit the dance floor at the end of my wedding coverage – it just shows how much I enjoyed the wedding! Sirini and Nesakan, thank you so much for making me feel so welcomed. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
