Handcrafted Oak Tree Manor Wedding

If you’ve got a sharp eye, you may recall that we shared this couple’s engagement session on Ruffled earlier this year. Now The Bird & The Bear Photography & Films is back with us to share their just-as-precious wedding day with you all! Kaitlin and Seth’s wedding day is jam-packed with handmade details, so get ready to take in all the DIY goodness:

From the photographers, Bryan and Caryn of The Bird & The Bear Photography & Films: She and her groom made so many of the details for the big day themselves. They covered themselves in glitter while painting the jars for the centerpieces, pieced together a large ribbon and lace background for their photo booth and cake display backgrounds. Also, these Disney lovers made an “Adventure Book” to feature in their vintage lounge seating area. It is full of pictures and notes about their life together so far. They made all the signage around the venue themselves, including the glittery “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs for their chairs and their awesome Instragram hashtag sign.

One adorable feature was the individual butterfly confetti bags the bride made to place on each chair during the ceremony, which the guests threw in celebration as they recessed after their first kiss. That goes with just how playful these two are, highlighted by Seth’s Donkey Kong groom’s cake. Kaitlin and Seth are super brave, too, because they had the awesome idea to climb the huge Oak Tree on the property, knowing it would be a great way to kick off their new adventure as a married couple (as well as make for some fun portraits)!

  • I am absolutely in love in this wedding! So beautiful details were packed, lovely color theme and wonderful couple. Gorgeous photos! I really feel inspired by them! Thanks for sharing your day! x

  • Beautiful wedding and beautiful couple! Wondering if there is any info about her dress? I am very interested in finding something similar if not exactly like it for my wedding. I saw one similar online before, but also no dress details. If anyone has any help, that would be awesome!
