Gorgeous Gold Wedding in Arizona
One thing that is on our to-do list for today is to just stare and gawk happily at this beautiful, classic white and green wedding photographed by Rachel Solomon. This color duo can never go wrong and when Krystina and John began to plan their Arizona nuptials, they went down this minimal and elegant route. They had lovely odes to Krystina’s Japanese heritage in the form of paper cranes and enlisted floral designer Zuzu’s Petals to bring the wedding design to life.
From the bride, Krystina: John and I met through mutual friends at a pool party. We were on the same “Flip Cup” team. Need I say more? A few years down the road and a Yorkie later, he asked me to marry him. It was on Easter morning, the day after the Badgers (Go Badgers!) beat Kentucky in the Final Four. I knew he was happy about the win, but I never expected a ring. I liked college basketball a little more after that day.
I immediately found the whimsical and vintage-inspired venue of my dreams in Stonebridge Manor, located in Mesa, AZ . From there, with the help of my Day Of Coordinator, Anne Rajinsz, I began putting together all the pieces of my ideal wedding day. This included a touch of my Japanese culture with white cherry blossoms and ivory paper cranes, a little bit of a shimmering and elegant flare with gold sequins and billowing bouquets of white floral and green foliage made by the amazing Zuzu’s Petals, and of course my gorgeous Martina Liana lace gown that incorporated the vintage feel I was hoping for.
I knew the look I wanted and with that I knew that Rachel Solomon would be the perfect fit for us to bring images of our wedding day to life long after the day has passed. The music and ceremony guitar, thanks to Rich Mancini of Mancini Entertainment, was absolutely spot-on to what we asked for. The simple yet beautiful cupcakes that Piece of Cake created were exactly how I had pictured. Even the Real London Buses we rented to bring guests to and from our venue from Talking Stick Resort went without a hitch. Thanks to our friends and family, our amazing bridal party, and the many talented people that we chose to help us bring this day together, everyone had an amazing time. I am beyond thrilled with how everything and everyone came together on our special day.
Thank you for sharing this lovely wedding! It was such a personal one for the bride & groom. The vendor team was incredible and did an exceptional job!
