Romantic Garden Wedding Filled with Hand-Opened Roses
Today’s romantic garden wedding is filled with hand-opened roses of our dreams. Maria + Angel’s wedding day was perfected by gold, green, and white color palette that obviously looked so lovely with the subtle floral arrangements. We adore how the gold steel stands and frames added a modern + stylish look to this romantic soiree. And our favorite? The magical string lights at night! Have a look:
Juanlu Rojano captured this romantic garden celebration that’s perfectly planned and designed by no other than Paloma Cruz Eventos. And behind the prettiest floral arrangement filled with carefully hand-opened roses is Jardín del Cabo.
From the groom: Our love story starts back in 2010 when we met in a job interview. After three months we became friends (the regular one or two calls a week) and a year into having met we became very, very close friends. We had a lifetime, honest friendship in which we told each other all of our daily struggles. After knowing each other for two years we knew we would be in each other’s lives forever.
Four years after (and still working together) I called off my wedding to another woman. In my heart, I knew the woman I loved was, indeed, María. So I went for her. I managed to get a date with her and we had the most unforgettable day ever. That was 2014 and since then we have never spent a day apart.
In August 2016 we went on a trip to Mexico, where I finally proposed to her. We went for dinner on a beautiful night out and I surprised her getting down on one knee and asking her to marry me. She said ‘Yes!’ with a huge grin on her face.
Towards the end of that year, we met Paloma Cruz and her team. They made our dream wedding come to life. LONG LIVE LOVE! As for the floral decor goes, everything was set on a dusty nude and white color palette.
María carried an oversized bouquet filled with garden roses, hellebores, and peonies. A perfect fit for her and her stunning gown.
The ceremony had a beautiful altar setting with an arch filled with fabrics and a hanging chandelier that Paloma Cruz’s team set up. The florals decorated the sides of the arch and delicate centerpieces were placed on top of columns accompanied by fabrics. Some of the flowers used in the arrangements included dahlias, peonies, hydrangeas and a considerable amount of hand-opened roses (one y one!) to create a more modern and city-like look. Right at the entrance of the ceremony, some more centerpieces on columns were placed. The tables were crafted based on an English 1950’s sustainable technique that uses no floral foam and instead all the flowers are touching the water. Not only is this an eco-friendly technique but it also allows the flowers to have a more natural and laidback look. Again, plenty of hand-opened roses were used in the centerpieces together with many, many other types of flowers.
