Romantic LA Wedding At Carondelet House
Any wedding at LA’s Carondelet House is a feast for the eyes, but when you pair that with a bride who has not one but two show-stopping gowns, the wedding is all but guaranteed to be a forever favorite. From the bride, Stephanie: When we got engaged and started planning for our wedding, we knew it was important to have an intimate event at a unique venue with family and close friends present to celebrate with us. We came across Carondelet House in Los Angeles and fell head over heels the moment we walked in. It was different than the other weddings we were used to, and the exposed brick walls and vintage furniture were the perfect backdrop in setting the tone of our wedding. We loved the small courtyard and the pockets of the venue that had a lot of character and made it feel like an inviting home. We started piecing the vision together and decided that hiring a great wedding planner would help bring life to our ideas. Finding the right one wasn’t an easy task, but we brought Joyce Kim Weddings on board and she was able to cohesively pull together our vision of soft romance with hints of vintage.
Fast forward to the wedding day. We couldn’t believe how everything turned out because it was so much more beautiful than what both of us ever imagined. The venue was brimming with details – from the blooms in the flower arrangements, the smaller decorations at the sign-in and sweetheart tables, the dessert set-up that was overflowing with florals and filled with all of our favorite desserts, and to the escort gold-framed mirror with the white decal – all were exquisite!
Our wedding day flew by so quickly, but we can say that it was the most gorgeous and meaningful day of our lives. Having our loved ones celebrate our union was a blessing and we were even able to incorporate our two dogs in the photos since they’re family! We truly got the wedding that we wanted, and we’ll always be able to fondly remember back to that impeccable day.
