Romantic Destination Wedding in Napa Valley

Today’s newlyweds made their way from Texas to Napa Valley for a truly romantic vineyard affair, complete with some of the prettiest garden roses you’ll ever see. The Edges Wedding Photography, Your Event by Erin, and Florali all worked to make this destination wedding an unforgettable one, and judging by these images and the smiles on all the faces, we’d say they did it.

From the wedding planner, Your Event by Erin: From the first call with Courtney and James we knew it was a perfect wedding planning match! As Courtney said, I “totally got her vision from the first phone call.” This Texas couple was going to be a favorite, we could tell from day one. Courtney had a vision of what she wanted and some details such as great food, great wine, awesome Napa Valley setting, relaxed yet elegant and truly a fun destination wedding. Courtney and James came out to Yountville for a planning weekend about 6 months before their wedding. I set up 9 meetings in 1 weekend and we had a great time together visiting the florist, picking linens, selecting rentals, tasting cake, talking layout of the spaces and more.

When the weekend arrived Courtney and James were on cloud nine, with their friends and family from Texas here in Wine Country to celebrate… and celebrate they did! We had Mumm Rose tray passed for guest arrival, a heartfelt ceremony that Courtney said was a highlight of the day “The beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements, the guests with their white parasols, the string quartet playing beautiful music. The weather was perfect and it was absolutely everything I wanted that moment to be!” Guests moved from ceremony straight into a lively cocktail hour that rolled into an elegant 3-course dinner under the market lights at the East Pavilion. Courtney and James selected a Jazz band to play for their al fresco dinner. The band helped set the tone for a joyous reception, tons of laughs, great toasts, hugging, vibrant conversation, and just perfection in our eyes as we watched it all unfold. Inside the barrel room following dinner, guests danced the night away to DJ Von spinning great tunes. Truly a magical night in wine country for this couple and we were honored to be part of the journey and day.
