Lake Como Destination Wedding with Hanging Amaranthus
Having finally visited Lake Como for myself earlier this year, I can tell you it makes for a super dreamy destination wedding location. There’s no shortage of beautiful water or looming mountains, meaning you’ll always be looking at some stunning scenery, no matter where you turn. Today’s wedding from Irene Fucci, Benevent, and Cip Garden further proves how lovely the Italian destination spot is, with some seriously cute wedding ideas for you to bookmark for your own upcoming celebration.
From the photographer, Irene Fucci: Patrizia and Roberto’s wedding has a special place in my heart. They asked me to be their wedding photographer because their instinct asked for that, or at least this is what Patrizia (the bride) told me. And I couldn’t be more grateful. They had this vision of an informal wedding full filled with colors and flowers and they come right from Switzerland to celebrate their love.
I loved so many details about their wedding, but one of my very fave was their guestbook. They decided to avoid the classic book and opted for some broken pottery pieces that guests could sign up instead. I feel that this is such a unique and personal idea! I’ve also really liked their wedding favors including seeds and pastel candies, not to mention their sweet table. The “table” was actually made of an old upcycled door decorated with a long handwritten brown paper roll.
