Idyllic Engagement Inspiration in Iceland
Goodness gracious, prepare yourselves for some serious scenery envy. Jane Iskra, Daria Inventazh, and Þórdís Z. created this beautiful inspiration shoot to share not only the picturesque land, but also the history of Icelandic ancestors. The couple is styled in traditional Icelandic attire, and despite the cloudy day, their love shines through like nothing else.
From the photographer, Jane Iskra: This is a kind of a wedding styled photo shoot made at the south of Iceland, not far from area of a tiny town of Vík, at a famous Dyrholaey cape and then we moved to the amazing Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach with this huge basalt columns and caves.
The whole style of the photo shoot was inspired by the ancestors of Icelanders – vikings. Fur, leather belts, hairpieces and hairstyle – everything was thoroughly styled. Our models are a real couple that we found around a year ago during the trip to Iceland and all this time we did nothing but just wait for the opportunity to shoot their love!
