Fairytale Forest Wedding with Florals Galore
Brian and Caroline’s fairytale forest wedding turns up the volume on enchanting watercolor romance! Featuring soft pastels, white folding garden chairs and a sweetheart table dotted with pastel blossoms, we double dog dare you not to pin every sweet detail. We’re not entirely sure this wedding isn’t straight out of a dream, so prepare to be mesmerized by all the natural beauty.
With a round statement engagement ring from Blue Nile , we’d say a thousand times yes!
Taralynn Lawton Photography gives us a peek at enough creative details to make us feel like we’re really there, and we instantly felt swept away in one of those blissful Dutch villages with nothing but water passageways between the cottages and flower fields.
From the event designer, Lovely Time Weddings & Events: The inspiration was drawn from the couple’s aura and their hopes to create a garden in the middle of the forest for their wedding. Brian and Caroline’s personalities were also so sweet and colorful, it just inspired the pastel palette. The venue the couple had fallen in love with since the beginning, Nestledown , was described by them to be a place with a magical touch that transports visitors into a different world of dream and fantasy. The pastel color palette only supported the image to create a romantic and elegant wedding.
Femme blush halters from Weddington Way are a classic bridesmaids look we’re dying for.
Michelle Lywood decks the space with soft and classic blooms in lavender and pink hues, and we’re pretty sure she has a magical green thumb.
Love this idea for a guestbook! With calligraphy from Blush Type Design, this canvas features the cottage at their venue and can be hung as artwork in their home once the day is long past.
From the bride: The gown is called “Elisabetta”, and it’s designed by Reem Acra. I bought it from Jin Wang Boutique in San Francisco. I tried about 40 gowns when I was dress-hunting with my mom, and I knew this was “the one” the moment I put it on. I have never seen a wedding gown like this before. I didn’t want my dress to be too flashy, but I also didn’t want something that’s too plain. This dress was the perfect combination of classic and modern, and I feel like this dress has my name all over it! It was very me.
The whole day was absolutely magical, being able to celebrate our love and marry my better half. If I had to choose my favorite moment, it would be the first look. I was a little nervous when I walked towards Brian for the first look, but I have never seen and expected Brian to be that emotional. The first dance also felt magical as we danced together as husband and wife.
We’re loving Caroline’s soft bridal look from VID Studio – a photographer that also specializes in makeup artistry. Talk about skill!
We met during our freshman year of college, around early September 2009 through mutual friends. Brian’s friend was interested in dating my roommate at the time, although they were both too shy to go on a date alone, so Brian’s friend had brought Brian and my roommate brought me to the dinner for a double date. It’s funny how they didn’t end up being together but Brian and I ended up dating. After six years of our relationship, Brian actually never asked me THE question, but he suggested that we should get married in 2015 and we eventually did in 2017!
The handpainted cake from Studio Cake is a work of art with handpainted brushstrokes of purple melting into peach.
Colorful tabletop pieces from Frances Lane sit atop light neutral linens from La Tavola. Cue the heart melts! So many unique pieces in the vintage furniture from Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals. Did you catch the Singer sewing table beneath the cake??
