Old-Fashioned English Rose Garden Wedding Inspiration
Heirloom details and soft pastel colors lead the parade of perfection in today’s English rose garden wedding inspiration from impeccable Seattle wedding creatives. If you find yourself drawn to Old World beauty, prepare to get wrapped up in the poetic romance of it all here too. From an intricately embroidered lace wedding dress to a happy little spillage of blooms, we are hooked!
Jeremiah & Rachel Photography lead us to wonder why anyone ever dines indoors… the intimate courtyard ambiance you’ll soon see is wholly idyllic.
Goldfinch Events & Design told a stunning story as they incorporated such details as vintage Chinese wallpaper, delicate antique stemware and peach + canary blooms.
And Mums Flowers sure showed up with their trio of pastel arrangements mimicked artfully in the cake!
La Happy‘s gold foil calligraphy is making us *literally* swoon.
Figuratively speaking, vintage engagement rings will never get old. And this floral halo ring from Trumpet and Horn is solid evidence!
From the photographers, Jeremiah & Rachel Photography: The inspiration for this shoot came from our love of classic architecture, English roses, garden parties, and a sweet couple in love. We chose Lakewold Gardens outside of Seattle, Washington as our setting for this shoot. Walking through the garden gates, you’re instantly transformed, back in time. The smell of fresh cut grass, sweet blooming trees and a delicious vanilla cake from The Sweet Side set the tone for our classic garden party wedding.
This cake from The Sweet Side is no joke, but it sure does make us smile.
Sarah wore a stunning Claire Pettibone gown, with sleeves that would stop you dead in your tracks. Alex, our groom, looked dapper and ready for an old-fashioned cocktail in his fitted tux from The Black Tux.
Mums Flowers filled every inch with lovely blooms of garden roses, peonies, hellebore, ranunculus and delphiniums that matched the natural setting of a formal garden. The The TOP rentals adorned our table with the most classic, delicate and vintage table setting.
His sophisticated look from The Black Tux is very debonair indeed.
To top off the elegant table, menu cards and name cards designed by La Happy were the perfect formal touch. The soft blue linens kept the shoot feeling fresh and bright, perfect for spring or summer affairs. We especially loved the name tags for the adorable boutonnieres, as a way to keep things feeling personal and intimate. They made for a great photo opportunity to style on a vintage brass tray.
