Friendsgiving Dinner Party Inspiration in Dusty Rose
Well, salutations are in order – happy Turkey Day! Today we’re sharing this wedding inspiration in candlelight and dusty rose that’s a perfect blend of modern and romantic. Since it is almost time to set the table for all of us in the U.S, we thought this tablecape works seamslessly for a dinner party as well, so we’re sharing a shopping guide just in time for Black Friday deals. Created by event designer The Romance Crew, this setting is modern and ethereal at its core. We love the play on dark neutrals lit only by flames and the textural contrast between metal furniture + soft decorative accents. Don’t ya think the photographer, Lyss, captured everything beautifully? We believe this would create the perfect ambiance at a Thanksgiving dinner for adults, and hope you’re just as inspired as we are!
We’ve included some links to shop this look for your next hosted gathering – trust us, a thoughtful tablescape with simple calligraphy place cards and meaningful (but minimalist) decor will wow.
From the designer, The Romance Crew: How divine to dine beneath a canopy of swaying tulles and silks at a setting melding contrasting elements of modern chic meets old world timelessness. Eyes will be drawn to the ethereal, almost otherworldly, floral arrangements that splay on the floor either end of the table. Each hand-painted carefully in smoky tones of pink and grey.
Above, set on a clean white table, further romantic painted blooms are arranged with crystal and candles beside soft blush linens that fall in layers, intricate vintage cutlery and textured ceramics. Each place setting is decadent with the addition of fine cut glass and watercolor place cards. While minimal touches of cubed marble and striking white wire chairs add a contemporary edge.
A lounge setting of unexpected Malawi chairs complimented by modern marble, brushed silver, classic crystal and plush pillows. Somewhere warm and cozy to sit and scope the beautiful surrounds as the sun falls below the mountains beyond.
Completed with the addition of a lush marshmallow frosted cake, perched on a vintage silver stand. The table itself adorned with disheveled silks, billowing tulles and lovingly placed painted flowers. Captured in all its moody perfection is this place of calm serenity, bold romance and ethereal ambiance.
