DIY Planetary Orbs Decor
Inspired by the current lunar watercolor trends, and the dreamy colors of Antelope Canyon and moody swirls of color on Mars, our own Kathryn Godwin of Studio Cultivate brought together all these elements to create a sophisticated, feminine planetary dinner setting. We partnered with Testors for this project, and we can’t wait to share how these beauties turned out! Keep reading for more:
Here we used them as centerpieces, but go ahead and use them on your garden, ceremony aisle, shelfie, coffee table etc.
Materials:
Testors Aztek Compressor
Testors Aztek Airbrushable Paint in colors Peach, Pink and White
Concrete Mix
Bucket
6″ glass light globe
8″ glass light globe
Hammer
Trash bag

*Bonus tip: Cut circles from a plastic placemat, and tape to a scrap board. Use the same airbrush process to paint the atmospheric bands on the circle. Let dry for an hour or two and use at the place settings for a guest gift or placecard.
