Country Meets Bohemian Wedding in Nashville

Sometimes we get weddings I catch myself staring at over and over again, and today’s from High Five For Love Photography is a prime example. Shaylee and Ryan had a wedding that perfectly fused bohemian and rustic style, for a look that’s as timeless as it is au courant. Let’s jump in!

From the photographer, Chrissy of High Five For Love Photography: Shaylee and Ryan are our people, and this wedding was a freakin’ blast. We fell in love with them instantly when we met, and their engagement session goes down as one of our favorites ever. We’re so thrilled to add their wedding to that list, as well. The details were incredible — gigantic pink and gold balloons, the loveliest bouquets and succulent boutonnieres, gold foil temporary tattoos, the sweetest ring bearer, and DIY goodness all over the place.

The moves on the dance floor were so fresh — just wait ’til you get to the reception! Shaylee + Ryan got down to Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby” for their first dance and rapped their way through the entire evening. Stank-faces galore. Of course one of our favorite things about the day were the communal prayers that were so sacred, so full of genuine love, and so empowering for this couple starting their new life together. From start to finish, this wedding was pure joy to capture. So, so honored to do it.
