We’re kicking off the weekend with an Oregon Coast elopement that’s bringing out the best and brightest in nature. Seriously – check out the pops of cobalt turquoise against the natural green hues of the forest! We’re crazy about all the details, from the draped ceremony arch to the lavish feast complete with a semi-naked (and succulent topped) cake. From the photographer and stylist, Shannon of Rustic Bloom Photography: Nick and Ciara had emailed me one day asking if I would document their elopement on the Oregon coast. They were driving from Idaho, just the two of them, and of course, without hesitation, I crossed the entire day out so we could adventure together. As I got to thinking about how to make it a day they would never forget, I decided to put together a last-minute styled shoot. My husband and kids built an arch with wood they found on their hunting trip, Side Door Cafe came through with some of the most delicious food to surprise them with, I arranged a big bouquet of flowers, as well as decked out the homemade pallet table and arch with greenery and rustic accents, Camy June creative put together a gorgeous watercolor invitation set, Sarah Bradshaw set aside time for makeup, and just like that everything had come together. Nick and Ciara woke up early the day before and made their way to the courthouse to make everything official before meeting up with me so we could spend the entire day shooting. I wanted to show them what my little town of Lincoln City had to offer, so we adventured to the forest, an open field often visited by herds of Elk, and we ended with the most beautiful sunset on the beach.
