Hold on to your bouquets, folks, because we’re about to take you on a wild ride through a mountain wedding extravaganza that’ll leave you breathless! Nestled in the high country of North Carolina, this wedding planned by Bethany Crispell is a feast for the eyes, blending awe-inspiring views with a citrus-colored wonderland that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a kaleidoscope of happiness with florals by Golden Thistle Design. Prepare yourself for an intimate ceremony at The Twickenham House, perched high on Phoenix Mountain, where Courtney and Trey sealed the deal with a view that overlooked the charming village of Jefferson and the haze-kissed Blue Ridge Mountains all captured by Megan Sheppard Photography.

They shared a table, ended up chatting, and hit it off immediately. During the holiday season one year, they set off for New Orleans to spend time with family before Christmas.

Trey proposed on a street car and then took Courtney to the posh Roosevelt Hotel to enjoy the holiday lights. They celebrated their engagement over dinner, with both of their families waiting there to surprise Courtney.

North Carolina granted Courtney and Trey a happenstance encounter and the dreamiest wedding day, set in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Courtney and Trey met at a bar in Charlotte soon after he had moved to the area.

With bountiful florals and a colorful bridal party, Courtney and Trey said, “I do,” overlooking the village of Jefferson and the hazy Blue Ridge Mountains. Every vivid tone, from peach to bright pink, marked the bouquet and floral installations, including happy bursts of yellow, soft blues, and indigo drenched this gorgeous cliffside mountain North Carolina wedding.

Dinner was set with crisp and minimal linens, fresh fruits, and delightful dried oranges marking the name settings. The stunning head table included hanging florals and candles, adding an air of whimsy throughout the reception.
