Caldera Cliffs Elopement With Peach & Blue Florals
Dimitris Psillakis has wowed us again! This time with a dreamy Caldera Cliffs elopement featuring peach and blue florals, sun-kissed newlywed portraits and a floralized geometric ceremony backdrop overlooking the Aegean Sea. Gregorio and Beatrice had originally planned a small celebration with their families who would travel over from Verona, but fate led them towards a more intimate exchange of vows in Santorini – one with just the two of them. Dream Plan Do Events curated all the darling details from the iconic photo spot where their ceremony took place to the watercolor brushtroke wedding cake mimicking the hypnotizing rise + fall of ocean waves. Betty Flowers Santorini ran with the idea of a texture-forward bouquet, and we simply can’t help but to steal glances at every wispy bloom in this artful arrangement all day long.
From the Photographer and Ruffled Vendor, Dimitris Psillakis: In a world that has been changed a lot recently after the latest pandemic of COVID-19, there are some people that still hope and believe in the name of love. Making a decision to get married in the middle of a pandemic is not an easy thing. There are a lot of parameters that you need to measure and think, in order to have destination wedding, that is going to be unique and safe.
This September, I had the opportunity to capture some love in Santorini, between a lovely couple. Their love to each other is a phenomenon and they support each other in every single moment.
I’m talking about Gregorio and Beatrice -a lovely couple from Italy, that went ahead and tied the knot in Santorini this September.
Their elopement in Santorini was planned and styled by the planning agency Dream Plan Do events, operated by Maria Darzenta, in a boho chick look. It was originally going to be a small wedding with 15 people from Verona. The elopement took place on Imerovigli village, Santorini.
There, I had the honour to capture their destination elopement in Greece and be part of their special day. After the wedding, we had a walk around the village and captured some love at a few iconic spots, that will commemorate their love forever.
We feel like we’re practically wandering this Santorini village ourselves after viewing G+B’s dreamy Caldera Cliffs elopement. Don’t you just love happy endings? Keep wandering with us in this Antiparos beach house microwedding next.
