If you have a talented friend who can draw, you can ask her/him to draw an invitation design just for you. It would not only be the best wedding gift/wedding budget helper combo but also a very meaningful way to invite your guests. I love the invitation poster above drawn by Liam Stevens.
Another option if you want to DIY is to buy a vector or high resolution graphic. Istockphoto has a ton of great vintage frames that would make gorgeous invitation design. The one above is my personal favorite, but I also found this one and this one.
