A Très Chic Spring Wedding Inspiration at Chateau Saint Joseph
Hold onto your berets, because we’re about to embark on a wedding journey that’s as enchanting as Chateau Saint Joseph but with a twist that’s straight out of a Mandarin masterpiece. Imagine lush emerald greens seamlessly entwined with traditional Chinese elements against the backdrop of a majestic Chateau in France. Yes, folks, this is not your average wedding; this is an Emerald Affair with Mandarin Magic.
Crafted with precision and a dash of cultural flair by Romance Wedding Paris, this wedding extravaganza is the brainchild of creativity meets tradition. Thanks to the masterful touch of planners who orchestrate dreams, the floral enchantment by Nadezda Creations, and every moment captured through the lens of a visionary, Catherine Chuang, this celebration is about to redefine elegance.
So, get ready to be whisked away to a world where the emerald hues of love collide with the sophistication of a French chateau and the rich tapestry of Mandarin traditions. It’s not just a wedding; it’s a cultural symphony, a feast for the eyes, and a celebration that promises to be as memorable as the merging of East and West. Let’s dive into this emerald affair with Mandarin magic – where love knows no borders and style knows no limits!
And the story or concept:We really want to emphasize how emerald green can be elegant and still be easy to incorporate into a wedding day color scheme, so we picked it as our main color and added other accent colors to go along with the design. The styled shoot colors are emerald green and gold, we threw in white as the third color to balance out both the main and accent colors.
We chose 2 gowns to incorporate the beauty of the two worlds: the West and the East. For the ceremony gown, we have this big a-line with flowy fabric to have a grand entrance for the bride. When the wind blows, her gown will fly in mid-air to create that dramatic look. As for the 2nd gown, it is actually a modernized qipao in white with emerald green buttons. We want to circle back to that emerald green with a design purpose while celebrating the Mandarin culture from the bride’s side.
For the floral design, we wanted to showcase the summer vibe, so we focused on creating an abundance of table centerpieces for the long dining table, adding peach candles to showcase the gold colors in between the plates and wine cups. We are very proud of using lots of greens for the overall look of this styled shoot since we’ve seen a lot of green vs. white in real weddings and styled shoots, but not enough brave souls willing to challenge and take the creativity to the next level.
As far as the wardrobe, we always want to look at the venue or environment first, then decide what wedding attire is best. For example, you won’t see someone wearing a ballroom gown at a beach wedding. That is completely out of place. For a chateau wedding, some chateaux are more for hunting, and some are more for luxury get-away locations, so your wardrobe choice does vary based on the environment you’re going to be in.
