A Storybook Wedding: Part I

What a lovely vintage wedding to share with you today. Megan and Bryan were married this past summer and their wedding style perfectly reflected their careers.

Megan shares their story: I’m a Reading/English teacher married to an Executive Chef. Our careers lended themselves to any playful theme. The original “Recipe for Love” theme worked only in our minds, not in reality. So it was then that we went with the “Storybook, Lived Happily Ever After” idea.

All stationery was design by Kelly from Keg Design.

Their invitations were letterpressed with deckled left edge to mimic a page ripped from a book.

I loved the idea of a Bookmark Save the Date. Each bookmark was composed of a vellum overlay which was placed on top of a beautiful iridescent stock with the couple’s wedding information. Both pieces were hand tied with golden ribbons & pearls and then placed into a gold, open-end envelope.
