A Dodgers-Inspired ‘Crash Course’ Wedding in Los Angeles

Chris and Ashley’s wedding was a true grand slam, blending their love for each other with their passion for the Dodgers and the city of Los Angeles. This special day brought together unique, personal touches, beginning with their “Crash Course” theme—a playful nod to their shared initials and journey together.

Chris and Ashley’s wedding was designed around their love for the Dodgers! With this theme, the tag line “Crash Course” was created to help carry their personality throughout their special day.

From the custom structure build for their ceremony altar featuring Ashley’s favorite color pink, to their custom built escort installation, Chris and Ashley’s wedding features multiple unique moments. Their escort installation was designed to visualize the Crash course tagline.

We created a miniature road map version of Chris and Ashley’s favorite places in Los Angeles throughout their dating history. Each memorable location was recreated on the escort table with mini toy cars with all the guest names and table numbers. Guests found this interactive escort installation a perfect photo moment as well as very entertaining!

Set against the chic, industrial backdrop of Playa Studios, Chris and Ashley’s wedding came to life with a perfect mix of urban flair and personalized charm. The venue’s open, modern space allowed the couple to transform each area, bringing their vision to life with unique installations and decor. Playa Studios’ versatile layout provided the ideal setting for their custom-built altar, interactive escort table, and Dodgers-inspired accents, making every corner feel like a new chapter of their story.
