Sunkissed Lavender Farm Wedding with an Open Air Chapel
If the words “open air chapel” doesn’t give you an indication of the storybook nature of Karlie + Ryan’s sun-kissed wedding day, then just wait til you see the picturesque images below from Lauren Olivia. With a delicate blend of peach, cream and lavender hues, this duo exchanged vows in a unique chapel with vaulted ceilings and a hundred glassless windows. Their play on the geometric pattern of the chapel boasted continuity from the signage to the napkin tie, and we cannot help but melt as we glimpse their portraits amidst the rows of fresh lavender that seem to go on forever. Ready to dive in?
From Lauren Olivia: Winter in Queensland, Australia isn’t cold or snowy like other places in the world but it is beautiful and perfect for weddings. It brings cool days with soft sunlight and even if you’re lucky, frost underfoot so it’s no surprise Karlie and Ryan chose to wed at this time of year.
Having met through mutual friends and sharing a deep love for their bulldog, Frank, they tied the knot between the Lavendar and vineyard lined open-air chapel at Kooroomba. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest with tones of blush and gold it was the perfect meeting of elegance with a modern twist.
Professional styling, a surprise pair of Louboutin’s for Karlie the morning of the wedding – chosen by the groom himself and photos filled with light and the stunning Australian landscape.
