From the lens of Lace and Luce Photography, Jillian and Jonathan’s wedding by Primavera Dreams is a mesmerizing event that combines family-style dining with a black-tie affair filled to the brim in style.

Finding the Right Wedding Venue in Florence:

From Lace and Luce Photography,: After spending the first half of the day enjoying their getting ready time in two separate locations, the couple had an emotional First Look in an enchanting Italian garden. The ceremony took place on the villa’s spacious terrace, against a backdrop of the incredible Chianti hills at Villa Medicea di Lilliano .

The bridal bouquet was a beautiful combination of warm tones and fresh greenery. Gorgeous Tuscan vases filled with roses, proteas, carnations, greenery, and pampas grass accentuated the ceremony. The aisle was covered with rose petals.

The wooden reception tables were decorated with lavish garlands and a multitude of candles. Golden cutlery and gold-rimmed chargers glimmered throughout the space. Miniature bottles of the extra virgin olive oil made from olive’s grown at the villa itself, were the perfect finishing touch. Upon arrival, the guests were greeted with fresh lemonade and escorted onto the terrace.

After the ceremony, everyone was invited to the cocktail area beneath the olive trees, where a live trio was playing popular Italian songs. While the couple took photos in the olive grove with their photographer, the guests sipped Prosecco and tasted Tuscan delicacies. They soon joined their guests for Aperitivo and family formals. Dinner was set up in the garden, in a typical Tuscan setting under Bistro-style lights.

It was enlivened by thoughtful and humorous speeches. The caterer, Ciabatti Ricevimenti, created a four-course dinner, the climax of which was a cake making demonstration. The couple opted for a traditional, Italian Millefoglie cake, which the chef finished in front of the guests. Everyone ignited sparklers to celebrate his delicious creation!

The dances took place inside the beautiful Limonaia, where the DJ and saxophone virtuoso were waiting for the wedding party. The lighting, lounge furniture and open bar got everyone in the mood to dance! Everyone enjoyed an impressive variety of exquisite desserts, and the specialty cocktail: a perfect Espresso Martini.

The couple’s first dance brought tears of joy to every eye in the room, as did the couple’s dances with their parents. Then, the entire crowd took to the dance floor, and no one was ready to leave until after 1:00a.m.!
