Modern California Ranch Wedding At Magic Hour
With a refreshing long weekend under our belt, we are ready to get back to wedding admiration – starting with this California ranch wedding oozing with style. Seriously, whenever we see personalized denim bridal jackets, we’re defenseless. There’s warmth and joy and a thoughtful, yet laidback ambiance in Lindsey and Tom’s day, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Captured by Pacific Northwest wedding photographer, Alex Lasota, these gorgeous images have a golden tint and down to earth vibe about them. Her work never ceases to amaze us!
We’re loving these modern wedding invites from Eleven and West with earthy neutrals and mixed fonts!
Planned and designed by Christie Rose Events, the rich decor and family-style ambiance serve to enhance the rustic chic nature of the ranch setting. Plus, the fab team gave the VIP’s a chance to totally relax before the festivities began. Always a win!
Uh huh, honey. These blooms from Berry & Bloom are just what the doctor ordered.
Isn’t Lindsey’s contemporary wedding dress from Chosen By One Day a total vision?
She snagged this open-back beaut at Lovely Bride in New York City!
From the photographer, Alex Lasota Photography: Lindsey + Tom’s wedding at Triple S Ranch in Calistoga, California was a wedding we’ll never forget, and one that came close to not happening because of the Northern California fires of 2017. Luckily thanks to the Calistoga Firefighters, the property was saved, and Lindsey and Tom were able to celebrate their special day as planned.
Lindsey + Tom both reside in Manhattan, NYC, where Lindsey works for Google and Tom is a writer. The two met in Oregon when they were attending OSU, and made the move to NYC shortly after college. What was supposed to be only a year of residing in NYC, gradually turned into several as the pulse of the city took their heart away. While they couldn’t get married in NYC they wanted to make sure a piece of their heart was still tied into their day, which was why they went with Triple S Ranch. You see the owner of the ranch has included vintage pieces from all across the United States to decorate his venue. One of those pieces happens to be an old bar from New York City, that he had installed into the bar room, which tied Lindsey + Tom’s story together perfectly.
Some of my favorite memories from Lindsey + Tom’s day, was when the couple exchanged gifts to one another – where Tom gifted Lindsey a pair of beautiful diamond earrings passed down from his grandmother, and Lindsey gifted Tom a pair of custom shoes (with words that had special meaning to their relationship) by a celebrity NBA shoe designer. Not only were the two emotional by the gifts but more by the letters that were attached to them. I also loved how Lindsey incorporated her new last name in a custom jean jacket that she wore after the ceremony.
This bridal squad look stunning in their sweet powder blue bridesmaid dresses from Shona Joy.
Hair & Makeup Co gave Lindsey a high pony-tail we are totally envious of. So flirty and fun!
