Painterly Philadelphia Wedding with a Skyscraper View
Life’s a bit short for the Monday blues, so instead we’re bringing you some bright pops of color in this painterly Philadelphia wedding with a million dollar view. Present throughout is a mauve to orange ombre palette mimicking a fading sun, and we could not be more in love with their reason for doing it. We’re saying holy tulle to the bride’s layered blush gown and are now in the market for every flower that filled her bouquet. These images from Redfield Photography are as poppy + bright as Jaime and Jonathan themselves, and we can’t wait for you to be inspired by their long-time-coming love story.
From the planner, Arielle Fera Events: Jaime and Jonathan’s wedding was an amazing beautiful Philadelphia wedding held at Sky Philadelphia! From the 51st floor, the venue is equipped with the best views of the entire city. Jaime’s wedding was bursting with sunset colors to complement the feeling of being in the sky at the venue. This wedding is so unique from the color palette to the design details – it is a real treat that infuses the playful styles of both Anthropologie and J.Crew.
J + J met when they were teenagers during a trip to Israel. After the trip they lost contact until fate brought them together again years later at a mutual friends party (that they didn’t even know they had in common) in Philadelphia. After getting together, they moved to New York, but knew they had to have a Philadelphia wedding as this city is what brought them back together after they met so many years ago in Israel. The rest is history.
