Anne Barge Runway Show at NYBFW Fall 2018
The story of this runway show is simple: Midnight Garden. Anne Barge was inspired by the natural, effortless beauty of nature as she created each of these pieces, and we love the soft trickle of pink in the simple hair ribbon accented by light makeup and rose gold skin. Timeless yet contemporary, this fall 2018 collection features a wide range of styles, fabrics, and patterns.
You’ll notice art deco motifs upon a romantic trumpet gown and then a bold asymmetrical bow tying up the back of a silky fit + flare. Low necklines and defined silhouettes are balanced with simple jewelry in pastel hues, and ombre details are a happy surprise if you have your nose to the screen like we did! Aside from the magnolia garland and petite bouquet, these gowns speak for themselves. Nothing else is needed besides these subtle nods to graceful classics, and if we could choose one word to describe this runway show it would certainly be femme.
