Intimate Garden Wedding Ceremony

Intimate Garden Wedding Ceremony

While we love a no holds barred wedding day with an elaborate reception, Danna and Gib’s wedding makes it clear that all you really need are two people madly in love (and maybe some cake). Emily March Photography celebrated the couple’s garden wedding ceremony — decorated beautifully by TreBella Florist — which was followed up with some tasty eats and tequila shots. What better way to celebrate saying yes to forever?

From the photographer, Emily March: Danna and Gib had the definition of a whirlwind engagement. Gib proposed this past February, only a few months before getting deployed overseas with the Army. Too excited to wait to get married, the pair opted for an intimate civil ceremony barely a month after Gib popped the question!

With garden roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus, spray roses, and so much more, this bouquet is certain to become an all-time favorite.

TreBella Florist decorated the chuppah with a mix of both floral blooms and greenery, keeping the overall look true to a garden celebration. Draping fabric over the birch wood structure also adds an extra touch of romanticism.

Honoring Danna’s Jewish upbringing, their traditionally Jewish ceremony included a flower-adorned chuppah and a Ketubah that each family member signed after giving a word of marriage advice and blessing. The beauty of this family gathering was matched only by the sunny setting in UNC’s Arboretum. After the ceremony, they celebrated in the best way – a tasty cake by Sugar Euphoria and round of tequila shots!
