Intimate Virginia Wedding
When Juan McLean shared these images with us, I stopped in my tracks. Yes, this is a real couple who had a real wedding! Matt and Karissa opted out of a big wedding, and decided to just have an intimate ceremony with their closest loved ones as witnesses of their union. They had these amazing portraits taken near where they live in Lynchburg before the ceremony. Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe these!
From the photographer, Juan: Meet Matt and Karissa chose to do a very low key wedding with a few close friends and family members to witness their vows. What they had envisioned was to have images of them enjoying one another in the city they live in. There was a brief getting ready moment but not a real ceremony up until the end of the shoot, and no reception. We strictly played and had fun getting images around Lynchburg, VA.
