Winterbourne Inn Wedding

Blues, greens, and ivory – such a classic color palette, yet it’s always a winner in our books. Parker and Chandler’s Florida wedding was relaxed elegance at its best, with the added bonus of a tropical setting twist (I mean really, those forest portraits? Come on). Thanks to the wonderful team behind their day, including Flora + Fauna, Bash, Please, and Rubys Red Floral & Garden!

From the bride, Chandler: We wanted to go with something that would complement our personalities. We are both very laid back and down to earth, so having any crazy colors or loud decorations just wasn’t us. We went with soft greens and a clean and simple set up to keep everything feeling ethereal and elegant. Some adjectives that would best describe our wedding would be organic, elegant, ethereal, soft, and romantic. Our color scheme was filled with velvety blues, all different sorts of greens, some ivory, and a touch of pink (in my bouquet!). We were able to hire Bash, Please to be our coordinators, so we did not do any DIY projects.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? I am a wedding photographer and I can appreciate good wedding photos, but we didn’t really think we needed videography. I had known Flora + Fauna personally since we work in the industry together, and I knew that they offered videography. A the very last minute, Parker and I decided we should do a video of our wedding day. It was hands down the BEST decision we made from the whole wedding planning process. I remember being so stressed and overwhelmed leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding day before our “I Do’s”, but looking back at our video, I can remember how happy I was and how beautifully everything turned out (it all becomes a blur on the day of)! It is so nice to have that documented not only for ourselves but for the generations to come too.
