Colorado Boho Wedding
It doesn’t get more bohemian than pulling inspiration from the sunset. This gorgeous Colorado boho wedding shot by Sarah Joelle Photography is filled with gold, which started with the bride Britta’s idea of adding gold trim to her wedding gown. I will let Britta take it from here about this dream-like fete:
From the bride, Britta: My inspiration for the wedding style was the sunset initially. I knew I wanted to use rich colors mixed with golds and lots of texture and bohemian touches. The design ended up being collected over time and the pieces slowly came together perfectly. We wanted to stay away from any ‘theme’ and wanted it to express beauty and love and light!
My favorite moment of the day was after the blessing was given by my Papa, and we all sat down for dinner. The ambiance was incredible and the sunset was like nothing I have ever seen. That part of the evening was simply magical, with guests floating out to the grass to watch the scenery, take photos and soak up the moment. I sat with my love and watched the people we love most enjoying good company, good food and sweet love. I’ll never forget it!

This couple really succeeded at capturing exactly what they wanted! You can see the “sunlight” the bride was inspired by shine through the entire wedding and all of the details. The wedding bouquets and wedding reception flowers are especially unique and beautiful!
Yes! The bride (with some help from her friends and family) did the flowers herself! =)
