Vintage wedding in Ybor City (Tampa, FL)

>

It’s been a month since my wedding day, and I’m still in awe of how fantastic and beautiful the day was. It was everything I could have imagined – and more! I’ve received all of my photos from my photographer, so I thought I’d post a few for your viewing pleasure.

First, let me direct you to my introductory post from a few months ago detailing the back story and vision for our wedding.

Now, here are some of my favorite pictures of our wedding day. Our photographer did such a great job capturing the details.

I loved the vintage aspects of my dress - including the lace-up back.

I found a unique vintage-inspired hair clip on Ebay that added the perfect amount of Art Nouveau glam.

We loved our cake. It was simple, elegant, and delicious. Our vintage penguin salt and pepper shakers were the perfect cake topper.
This authentic 1929 Model A Ford was one of my favorite wedding details.

Ybor City in Tampa, FL is a historic district with lots of great architectural detail. We were so excited to be able to use this area as a backdrop for our wedding photos.

This boutique hotel was our reception venue.

I loved the arches in this old brick building.

This building has so many great angles for photos!

We had a great time making use of every photo opportunity we could – and ended up with some really fun shots.

We lucked out with this one. It was on "on-the-fly" shot as one of the trolleys went by, and I love it!
Another fun, "on-the-fly" photo that just worked out so well!

What in incredible day we had! I wish the best for those of you who are planning your dream weddings – I just know all of you will have the most wonderful day of your lives! I hope some of our photos may serve as inspiration :-)

I know you have heard it before, but it really does go by so quickly – especially if photography is a big thing for you and you plan on trying to fit in lots of great shot ideas. If that’s the case, do yourselves a favor and build in extra time for photography so that you can really enjoy it and not feel rushed.

Best wishes to all of you and thanks to Amanda and Vintage Glam Weddings for being such a great source of inspiration throughout my planning process!

Oh, you can view my previous Vintage Glam Blogs that I posted during the last couple months of my planning process here.
