Sweet Washington Wedding
This wedding brings together the best of all words — one part rustic, one part vintage, and just enough femininity to set our hearts aflutter. How absolutely adorable is the bride’s setup of shoes for the day? There’s something to be said for preparedness! Don’t miss the gallery to check out more images from the fabulous Michele M. Waite!
From the bride, Carly: We wanted our wedding to feel cozy and warm, not too fancy, but still with a little luxury. The rustic charm and outdoorsy feeling of Willows Lodge is one of the reasons we chose it.
Rustic, Vintage, Spring, Earthy, Lovely, and Sweet describe our day. Our color scheme was peach with pale blue and mint. We also used beige/champagne as a neutral. I also love patterns and fabrics, so I used a lot of those too.
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? Don’t be overly stressed about details, they may seem important now but they won’t be high on your priority list on the day of… and delegate tasks for the day of and allow yourself to enjoy your day!

GAH! freaking adorable, everything! and its nice to see something from Michele M. Waite, I havent seen anything from her in awhile.
Love the shot of the different shoes for the day! Lovely wedding with lots of character.
LOVE the whole darn thing, from the colour story to the shoes and the DRESS. Anyone know where she got it from? I love the fullness of the skirt and the length, it’s exactly what I want.
Beautiful. I love how, in the last picture featured, there are two bubbles between the bride and groom that both clearly appear to have an ‘S’ in them. ‘S’ for sweet, special, or the first thing I thought of ‘sparks’. Totally love this photo shoot.
What a beautiful wedding! I love everything about it, especially her dress and hair
