1920s Flapper Bachelorette Party
If the idea of drinking speakeasy style cocktails, dancing the Charleston, and feeling glamorous in sassy flapper outfits sounds like the perfect party plan for you, then you’re in for a treat. The lovely ladies from Belathée Photography sent over the perfectly glamorous girls night out party, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. I immediately thought of how fabulous a roaring twenties bachelorette party would be. Their dear friend Nadia recently co-launched Mice at Play, a Brooklyn based activity group for busy city women. Every few weeks they organize fun fêtes and photoshoots for women appropriately called playdates, each with a distinct vintage era. You just need to worry about finding the perfect vintage outfit! For this 1920s soiree, they found a brownstone in Harlem that used to belong to Josephine Baker, setting the perfect mood for the party. They also projected the movie The It Girl with Clara Bow against window sheers, which could be watched from both inside and outside the house. Thanks Nadia and Belathee for sharing!
