And now, part two (See Part 1 here) of Stuart and Lauri’s vintage London wedding. I just adore those car and balloon pictures, and their cafe reception venue is so darling! Photos by Lisa Devlin.

From the couple: The reception was easy. We had been on a few really lovely day-trips to a fantastic little cafe at The Needlemakers in the gorgeous town of Lewes. The building, food and staff are all amazing there, and it was just big enough to turn the place into a sweaty little disco after the meal.

We all had a go as DJ as a lot of us know each other through the club night Stuart and his best man, Liam, ran together.

The cake, a tiered Victoria sponge with raspberries, was provided by the Needlemakers staff upon our request…lovely people.

Our advice is to spend money on the food and the photos, and make sure your wedding has meaning and personality.

I love this entire wedding! The look of the photography is very vintage get modern. I got married about three months ago and went for the same look. We used this concept called the unity cross during the wedding ceremony that really tied it together. The two pieces are put together in the wedding and it then becomes a home accent piece later. Kinda a nifty idea…anyways Cheers on a great looking wedding!

hello commentors! it’s so weird reading comments about our wedding, we did it on a total budget and weren’t expecting to be grouped in with what can only be described as ‘mega weddings’ by comparison. If any body reading this visits lewes soon, please check out The Needlemakers as Roman and his staff there are wonderful, and the food is ridiculously good x x x
