Utah Winter Wedding
It’s difficult for me to pinpoint exactly what I love most about this wedding, because it’s all so beautiful — but if I had to pick, I’d say it’s the fresh and modern vibe it exudes. That, of course, is achieved with the help of photographer Lora Grady, and heaps of fluffy floral arrangements from Tinge Floral. Jessica and Ryne’s wedding seamlessly brought a bit of spring to a winter wedding, and we adore the results!
From the bride, Jessica: I wanted my wedding to be more modern and not super formal. My colors were coral, grey, and tan. With a little bit of mint green here and there 🙂 We had a bunch of projects… We made a big giant wood frame. We printed some bridal pictures and engagement pictures onto mat boards and hung them from ribbon and put in the window frames of the wood frame that is about 7 feet tall and 6 feet wide.
We wrapped yarn around bottles. We used golf double sided tape, and taped them onto to the bottles and wrapped the yarn really tight. Some websites say to do hot glue… but that is too messy and not as easy. Instead of a sign in book, I made cards out of my colors and just wrote on a chalk board to have the guests write down a piece of advice on them for the new married couple. It was so fun to read through those!
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? I would advise you to get a list of every single thing that you need to get for the wedding and categorize when you need to get that done. Anything from decorations, to addresses, to food. I kinda just put it all together and overwhelmed myself by thinking I need to get this done pronto. But if you give yourself a deadline of each category, you won’t get as overwhelmed:)

Wedding Music:
First Dance: “On My Mind,” Kalai
Father/Daughter Dance: “Angel,” Jack Johnson
Then everybody danced to Eli Young Band-Crazy Girl. Then after those three songs were done it busted out into a dance party just by songs that are popular up beat songs right now!

Wow! That chapel is beyond amazing. One of the prettiest venues I’ve seen.
It’s one of many Mormon temples.
