Romantic Terrain Wedding

I must admit, I’m having trouble taking my eyes off of this romantic Terrain wedding sent to us by the talented folks at Swoon Over It! Filled with close to the heart family heirlooms, amazing antiques and fresh florals by Love ‘n Fresh Flowers, this is one totally glam garden wedding that you’ll want to stare at for a while.

From the bride, Amanda: We themed our wedding as “Simple Magnificence.” We envisioned rustic eclectic styles and surroundings that showcased antiques, family heirlooms and handmade items with a twist of glam. We wanted an intimate wedding where every detail represented and showcased described either the bride or groom. Our vision was for our guests to truly feel embraced and welcomed on our special day.

Our color theme was neutrals with splashes of bright colors. The bridesmaids wore a nude colored floor length gown with gunmetal draped beading, the groomsmen were decked out in Jcrew Irish linen, a crisp rolled sleeved white shirt with alternating matching belts and suspenders. I was in a custom gown colored and beaded to perfection by Mark Zunino and the team at Kleinfeld’s, while my groom a detailed earthy boutineer and Antonio Maurizi chukka boots to stand out.

The embroidery hoop wall structure (installation) was assembled with love by the bridal shower attendees who adorned the hoops with the our family heirloom doilies and handkerchiefs, as well as writing a few words of advice in the hoop. I then sewed each hoop together so it could hang. I hand-wrote the invitations, envelopes and seating cards and The Mr. & Mrs. pillows were made by my cousin. The boxes used as risers on the tables, the welcome sign, last name sign and bar menu were hand-made by my father and painted by my husband and I.

  • This wedding is gorgeous! I love EVERY detail!! Where did you get the thank you card on the table made?

    • Thank you!! I actually made them! I purchased custom sized handmade recycled paper from useless paper on etsy then printed the thank you and used the bakers twine from my invitation and place cards to tie everything in.
