Destination Wedding Weekend in Sifnos, Greece
It’s incredible to think that beautiful locations like Sifnos exist. Greece is full of amazing spots that look like they were plucked right out of a dream, so it’s no wonder why George and Ainee were smitten and charmed. Elias Kordelakos Photography had the lucky job of spending an entire weekend perched neatly in this city in Cyclades and the photography captured all of the bliss and all of the Grecian goodness. The 12 Events kept the styling true to the location: simple, clean, and timeless with whites, creams, and subtle touches of greenery. George and Ainee, their wedding, and Sifnos are all just so dazzling.
From the photographer, Elias Kordelakos Photography: I had so many amazing feelings from my three day experience in Sifnos that I need to be sure I have the right words! Well I guess, beginning with the most important experience, the people. Being a wedding photographer has to do mostly with people. No matter how good the light is, no matter how good a background or how expensive a wedding dress is, it always has to do with people. Being in Sifnos with George and Ainee was an experience like few. Their families and friends embraced me and my associate from the minute we stepped foot on the island. They made us feel like their friends and that we were part of the fun! I feel also that Sifnos has some positive vibes as an island and I surely consider it one of my favorites in Cyclades!
A destination wedding is such an ideal place to whip out a large map like this and use it as a wedding guestbook. Guests can take pins and indicate on the map where they’re traveling from and to personalize it more, offer small strips of paper where they can write their names and a sweet message to boot!
