Williams-Sonoma $150 Giveaway

I must admit: the kitchen and I aren’t BFFs, but having the right cooking tools has definitely brought us closer together. Williams-Sonoma is a no brainer for cooking tools and entertainment must-haves. From the beloved Kitchen Aid Mixers to panini presses, they have everything to furnish your dream kitchen – and you will want to start entertaining guests in a heart beat. Starting a registry is one of the most fun parts of being engaged – when else are you going to be able to go to your favorite store and pick out everything you could ever want?

If that wasn’t enough reason to start your registry stat, Williams-Sonoma is also giving away $150 to one lucky reader!

Here’s how to enter:

You must register with Williams-Sonoma to enter the giveaway. If you already have a wedding registry with Williams-Sonoma, you can add another item to your registry to enter and include this item in your comment. Then leave a comment telling us that you have registered and must leave us a note telling us the moment you knew Williams-Sonoma – this can just be a sentence or two.

You can receive an extra entry if you include their public registry link in the comments section!

We will pick a lucky winner randomly and we will announce him/her on Friday!

  1. Just added the Nespresso Pixie Espresso Maker, Electric Persimmon Red to our existing W&S entry! The moment I fell in love with W&S was when I purchased a tea infuser when I was 14 for my mom’s birthday. My second purchase a few years later of a monogrammed steak brand for my grill loving brother sealed my infatuation.

  2. I just went in and registered with Willams Sonoma. When hearing Willams Sonoma all i can think of is quality and elegance. So much on the site are must haves that im almost compelled to buy them for myself…I will control myself for at least another 96days(my wedding is on 6/18/11). I have already added Calphalon Contemporary Stainless Steel Miltipot, Nonstick Slide griddle and sear grill pan set, as well as the Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand mixer. Im sure I will be adding something everyday up until the wedding!

  3. I am not much of a chef, but I definitely aspire to one day be an amazing one. So, Williams Sonoma is actually the first place that I registered. I figure if I use the same tools all the great cooks do, maybe that will get me to great cooking as well (worth a shot, right?) I love their All Clad selection and just go crazy over all the neat gadgets there. Plus, I really enjoy baking and just added a beautiful white scalloped edge cake stand that will be great for special cakes. And to help the chance of a WS box showing up at my door, here’s a link to our registry: . 🙂

  4. Just added the Global 3-Piece Knife Set! Love Global knives! Once you go Global you never go back!

  5. We just added the Cast-Iron Bacon Press since my FH loves bacon! We are registering at Williams and Sonoma because we already have a lot of kitchen essentials and are looking to just class up our stuff a bit.

  6. I added the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, Metallic Chrome. I’ve always love Williams Sonoma! Great quality products!

  7. I added the Imperia pasta maker! So excited to get to use it. Fresh pasta is awesome and so quick for dinner.
I guess WS surprised me by slowly drawing me in time and time again until I couldn’t decide what I didn’t want in the store.

  8. I just added the Café Mug (set of 6) coffee mugs to our register because we need top notch stuff for our kitchen other than our plastic cups and cheap silverware. I love W-S and couldn’t WAIT to register there 🙂

  9. I already have a registry at WS…and I can’t quite believe it, but the wedding is in less than two weeks!

Anyway, I just added the set of 3 pastry brushes. So excited since I’ve already used the pie dish and the rolling pin that I received at the wedding shower.

I fell in love with Williams Sonoma when I started to realize how many items from my fiancé’s grandmothers kitchen were purchased there. I’m very lucky to be inheriting a good amount of all-clad cook ware. I just had to register for the pots that she didn’t have.

  10. We just added the Calphalon Nonstick Frittata pan – so well reviewed, and it would be super helpful since I’m horrible at flipping things in pans.

  11. Love WS…just registered (been meaning to do that forever) and added a Le Creuset skillet and Lemongrass Ginger Soap/Lotion Set. Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. I just added the Duraclear Margarita Glasses in muliticolor to my registry. My fiance pleads me to stop adding every week, but it is so difficult to limit my items!
I knew Wiliams-Sonoma would be my wedding registry when I fell in love with the Panini Grill in 2003. It’s so fast, easy and delicious for no hassle treats. Ever since then I have included Williams-Sonoma as my store for kitchen needs!
    GO WILLIAMS-SONOMA!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I found W-S when my MOH registered for her wedding, 7 years ago. I was so excited to see so many kitchen gadgets!!! Seriously, why didn’t I invent that. I have created my registry, and added the veggie chop. Who doesn’t love doing the lawnmower dance move to make salsa???

  14. I just added the Le Creuset Signature Round Wide Dutch Oven, 3 1/2-Qt. in Ocean to our registry! I knew Williams-Sonoma and I were destined to be great friends when I went to their first store in San Francisco with my mom, and sat in for a demonstration on how to bake cinnamon rolls from scratch. I’ve loved the store ever since and it is my go-to place for all things culinary!

  15. Just added the Le Creuset Teakettle in Red! Soooo incredibly beautiful. I knew I was destined to love Williams-Sonoma the first time I walked in the store in Mall of American and saw the beautiful red Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer (also in my registry). it was love at first site 🙂

I love to bake, so the mixer and the teakettle will take tea time to a new level!

    Here is ours… https://williams-sonoma.com/registry/2746333/registry-list.html

  16. I added the Global Knives 3-piece set and the magnetic wall strip as well. Williams-Sonoma was the first place I registered. I could walk around and stare at things in WS for hours!

  17. I just added Titanium Kitchen Shears to my registry. I knew that W-S and I would be life-long friends when as a small, food-obsessed child I first stumbled upon the catalog that my grandmother had on her coffee table. I spent the rest of the afternoon circling things that I needed/wanted/had to have in my dream kitchen with a blue highlighter. The best part of registering for a wedding is that it brings back that exact excitement.

  18. I knew W-S for the first time a couple years ago. I was out Christmas shopping and saw the glow of the most beautiful copper pots on the face of the planet. I was drawn into the store and fell in love. I added the Piazza Seafood forks because I want to cook more mussels.

  19. We just started wedding planning and we (mostly myself-he’s not much of a planner and small details guy) are excited! We LOVE to cook, so we are taking advantage of wedding registry by including items so we can upgrade our kitchen with wonderful (and more modern) items to help us expand our cooking skills and talents–both for ourselves and for our guests!

Williams Sonoma has always been the household name in my family for kitchen supplies. I remember going to the store with my parents to pick up new flatware or new supplies every once in awhile. So, I’m excited to register with a trusted company and get some quality supplies!

    Public Registry:

  20. We cannot wait for our Shun Classic 3-Piece Starter Set. Real big-girl knives for the first time in my big-girl kitchen! yay!!

  21. I added the all-clad canisters. 🙂

My fiance introduced me to Williams Sonoma. He’s a classicly trained French Chef, and of course he wants the best.

I drool EVERY time I walk by their store displays.

  22. I fell in love with WS after having delicious pizza at a summer bbq. I asked the hosts how they got that smokey, brick oven taste and they said they bought a pizza stone at WS. When I got engaged a few months ago, it was the first place we registered at. Can’t wait to try out the ice cream maker too!

  23. My sisters registered at WS for their weddings so it was natural for me to register there.

I just added the 1.5 Qt All-clad pot. It’s the perfect little size for heating things up or cooking a small dish.

  24. When my fiance and I registered at William Sonoma, we walked around and before we added something to the list she explained what we could make with it. That made the process more enjoyable for me. By the end I was starving.

I added the Stab grill pan to the list so we can make great steaks.

  25. My girlfriend registered at William-Sonoma and shopping for her was a breeze. The store has such a cozy atmosphere, I knew at that moment William-Sonoma was the place for me.

I added the Breville Programmable Espresso Maker with Integrated Burr Grinder.

  26. I just added the Wüsthof Walnut Knife Block! Hopefully we get the knives we registered for as well!

I first learned of Williams-Sonoma when my big brother got married in 2001. I remember going to purchase his gift in the store and thinking, “whoa… this store is intense… he must be pretty serious about getting married!” My brother is an amazing self-taught chef now and remains a role model to me. If he loves Williams-Sonoma, I will too… I already do! And I know he’s jealous that his little brother who just mastered boiling water is getting All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans with D5 Technology!

All my research, mainly on Cook’s Illustrated and Chowhound, points to Williams-Sonoma being the best place to register for top-quality, fundamental cooking products.

  27. Williams Sonoma is the ONLY store we knew without a doubt that we would register at. With the wedding over a year away, we haven’t really gotten that far but have started researching exactly what we want. I just added All Clad’s Goldtouch bakeware set to our registry!

We would absolutely LOVE this set. Cookies are a way to my fiance’s heart. My sister has some cookie sheets in this line and they do a wonderful job. I can’t wait to replace our old, burn-a-cookie sheets!

  28. We just got married almost 2 weeks ago, and I somehow managed to keep myself from using any of the new gifts until last night, when I took out my 5′ Shun Santoku knife, it is AWESOME!! I loved registering with Williams Sonoma, they open the store just for you and who doesn’t love shopping while sipping freshly brewed coffee in a store all to themselves…I just added the Kuhn Rikon Paring Knifes because the reviews were awesome and I had overlooked them when I first registered.
    Thank you Ruffled and WS!

  29. Everytime I look at the Williams Sonoma website, I find another item to add to our registry! The latest that I’ve just added was the Kitchen Torch! So excited about it! Thanks so much for the chance to win!!

  30. I just added the Crustless Sandwich Press, that is in the shape of a heart. It’s so adorable, I can’t wait to make my new husband sweet little sandwiches! I knew I loved Williams-Sonoma when I went into a store for the first time, and was inspired to cook because of all of the beautiful things you can get there to make a great meal!

Here is the public registry link…

  31. I have been registered with Williams-Sonoma for a few months now. My mother has a kitchen that is well stocked with Williams-Sonoma. I am looking forward to starting my collection of well made items that I know will last for a very very long time.
Everytime I check up on my registry, I find something else to add! Today I actually chose a bath item-

    * Monogrammed Chambers® Heritage Bath Towel, Pewter
    * Item #: 71-7773690

I would love to win this giveaway! It would be good to good use!

  32. I love this! I love everything in there store and would definitely be able to find some lovely treasures if I won this.

  33. https://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2736305/registry-list.html

As an avid cook, I love to go to Williams-sonoma and be inspired by all the amazing cookware. As a kid, I would flip through the W&S catalog and choose things that I would like to have in my kitchen as an adult.

Today I added the Provence tablecloth in yellow to my registry, item #9953910. I think it will be perfect for yellow french-inspired kitchen. Thanks!

  34. I love to cook, and Mike loves to eat, so registering at Williams-Sonoma was required.. Plus, he loved that we could add Star Wars stuff to the registry.
I just added the KitchenAid Stand Mixer Pasta Roller Attachment to the registry (but it seems like every time I visit the site I put something else on there!)
