Vintage Chic Wedding with Romantic Pinks and Dusty Italian Blues
On this fine day we’re basking in all the glory that is this vintage chic wedding in the Tuscan countryside. Stylized and executed by our own Laura Bravi, Roma + Billy’s I Dos’ were a serious standout. From the soft velvet ribbons and textured wax seals to the gauzy ceremony arbor bedecked in pastel blooms, it’s not hard to see why we’re giving a standing ovation for their special day. The cherry on top is absolutely the surprise gelato truck for their guests… la dolce vita indeed!
From the planner and stylist, Laura Bravi Events: Roma and Billy came from New York to tie the knot in Tuscany and to share their special bond with 50 of their best friends and closest family members. Both with their roots in the Dominican Republic, they wanted a wedding that felt timeless, classic but also very warm and fun, with a lot of surprises and nice touches to make their guests have the time of their life. They came to me after having chosen a great venue and photographer, and I helped them with everything else. This couple is made of two true sweethearts and working with them was extremely easy, everything was chosen carefully and enthusiastically and the end result was amazing.
The color palette of dusty blues, light pinks and touches of gold, paired with a slightly vintage and romantic mood, is a classic combination that will never get old, and it was well translated into every detail of the decor: from the floral decor, to the vintage furniture pieces used for the lounge, to the stationery design and all the small touches that were sprinkled throughout the day.
The highlights of the day were certainly Roma and Billy and their sweetness towards one another, but also the amazing photobooth built in a vintage WV van, the latin inspired music entertainment, the watercolor portraits of the guests painted live during the cocktail hour and the grand finale: a Gelato Van that came out as a surprise and was immediately assaulted by children and grown-ups alike!
