Who needs some tropical inspiration for today? We certainly do and this shoot definitely takes the cake! I’m loving the fact that the whole concept was was shot in Cactus and Tropicals (brilliant idea, right?), and that it all came to life through the lens of Green Apple Photography. Everything is dusted with lovely, pale shades of pink and yellow; and heaps of delicious tropical fruits are paired as decor with fun-colored shades of floral creations like ranunculus, parrot tulips, and garden roses. La Fete Floral did a beautiful job on the blooms. If your eyes need some reinvigorating today, this inspiration is it!
From the photographer, Green Apple Photography: This shoot was inspired by the Tropical Romance invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas and the Lea Gown in rose by Leanne Marshall. We wanted the bridal shoot to be soft and pretty, with a side of playfulness. We loved the idea of a bride with her bridesmaid/sister, and wanted movement, cascading flowers, and then natural elements of the green house.
The bride’s gown had such lines, we wanted to highlight that, along with stunning spring bouquet created by Allison Baddley of La Fete Floral. We also loved the mini pineapple. We decided every wedding needs a mini pineapple to take home. We also loved the strong, bold lines of the gilded romance menu cards, which was a nice contrast to the softness of the rest of the shoot. It was so wonderful putting this shoot together, with my creative partner, La Fete Floral.
A fun-colored cake like this pink one is such an eye-catching element! Dressing up cakes can add a great amount of uniqueness to a wedding reception and to a wedding overall.
Including the cool-toned wooden table, everything was topped off with dabs of muted blues and greens to tie the concepts together and add some awesome depth.
