A Travel Influencer’s Destination Wedding in Positano

Travel Influencer Destination Wedding Positano

A bright vintage fiat and a quintessentially Italian band were just a couple of the memorable details from this travel influencer’s destination wedding in Positano. The aesthetic of the day was defined by classic romanticism as blush and cream tones graced everything from the lush peony-filled ceremony arch by Malafronte to the calligraphed table names featuring illustrations from Christine and Ryan’s favorite cities around the world. Every detail from concept to creation was overflowing with intention thanks to the couple’s Amalfi Coast based wedding planner Emma Events. We know you’re going to be dreaming of la dolce vita after perusing this enchanting gallery from Rossini Photography below. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

From the Planner, Emma EventsChristine and Ryan decided to have their destination wedding in Positano and from the very first moment I felt so honored to be their local wedding planner. Christine is a travel influencer and after the very first phone contact I clearly understand she was looking for a memorable Italian experience for her destination wedding in Positano!!

As a locally based wedding planner, I love to create experience for my couples I shared with Christine and Ryan with the my know how and my culture to make them feel a unique experience!

From the Bride, Christine: Ryan and I fell in love with Italy when we first visited for our first international trip together. We kept finding our way back and fell in love with Amalfi Coast. Our story on picking the venue is that he had plans to propose at Hotel Marincanto at the balcony but since the ring did not arrive before leaving for our trip he ended up changing his plans last minute. He ended up proposing in Santorini when the ring was hand-delivered to the hotel. When we started discussing where we should get married, immediately Positano came to mind. We decided it would be a great idea to get married at the exact location and spot he had originally planned to propose and it was perfect. I envisioned having a classic/romantic setting with neutral and blush tones. Most of the vendors we selected were either from my research on Instagram or referrals from my wedding planner. My favorite parts of our wedding are renting the vintage fiat for our photoshoot and hiring an Italian band. The music was perfect for our wedding and everyone had the best time. My advice for future brides on planning a destination wedding is to hire a wedding planner, trust them and don’t overthink everything that has to be perfect. Everything will absolutely come together, be happy and just have fun because you will remember these happy moments forever.
