This Color Combo is Our New Favorite Wedding Trend

Bride at her California ceremony in a hand-painted blue dress and floral headpiece

With a dusty blue and burnt orange combo, we are taking notes of these two vibrant trending colors that make for a show-stopping wedding color palette. Along with planner, Coco & Whim, Southern California wedding vendors came together to create something truly spectacular! With both a hand-painted wedding dress and colorful wearable florals, it’s easy to fall in love with this wedding design after seeing the dream-like photos from Sarah Casmass + Estovest Studio.

From the photographer + art director, Sarah Casmass: With an amazing team of local vendors, we were able to lead a styled shoot to help break-in an emerging venue here in San Diego! I was writing an article on color theory and held this shoot to help demonstrate the concepts I was teaching on. I focused on two trending colors (dusty blue and burnt orange) and paired them together to demonstrate complimentary colors and their eye-catching power! Chantel Lauren Designs provided the gorgeous hand-painted blue dress, and Anise Floristry helped create my vision for both punchy and deep terra-cotta colored florals.
