If you’re a lover of vintage Vogue and lavender hues, then we think you may fall head over heels for today’s wedding. Just a little. Tammy and Kenneth’s love story shows just what can happen when fate is kind, and their cliffside Thailand wedding is magical to say the least. So prepare to feast your eyes on perfection, and be enamored by their star-crossed story.

From the stylist, Ilaire of Wedding Boutique Phuket: In 2009, Tammy was living in LA, attending the University of SC and Kenneth had just graduated and moved to LA to work. They kept leading their separate lives, unknown to each other… it was just 7 years later, back in Hong Kong, that fate made them cross paths, and they found out they were both living in the same building during their stay in LA.

A few years later, after “she said yes”, the couple decided to hold their destination wedding in Phuket, a place they used to go for holiday and really love. At their first appointment, I found out they both come from the same Fashion Industry background, which is also a common passion. Fate made it again! We decided the wedding would be inspired by a unique fashion vintage style.

These lavender and pink blooms from Flower & Wedding Studio Phuket bring bliss into our hearts, and we’re pretty glad they made a pit stop at T+K’s breathtaking ceremony!

Inspired by their magical story, Wedding Boutique Phuket made their wedding, an unforgettable one in every aspect. I personally went back to Europe after a few months to research and collect many special Fashion Vintage items to include in the setup.

The register table was set up with spools of thread, buttons and a mini sewing machine, a vintage suitcase as their card box. An old fashioned mannequin was used as seat chart, while for the tables numbers they used old prints of the most famous fashion designers bought in NY. Even the Photo Booth corner was created with real Vintage props of 20s, bought in London vintage markets. A special treat for all the Guests were the “Floral Tea Corner” for the girls, decorated with unique Vintage English teapots and cups, and the “Gentleman Bar” with cigars and selected liquors for the boys.

Uncommon flowers, hundreds of candles, the color purple and a circular altar overlooking the Andaman Sea, all emphasized by the sound of the violin, created a surreal atmosphere. And by the end of the Ceremony, a dramatic painted sunset at the Paresa Resort Phuket on that day, gave anyone the feeling that time was suspended and waiting for their magical union.

When the Guests entered the Dinner Restaurant, which had been decorated with a fairy light cascade, candles, candelabras, floral runners, and hanging bird cages with lights, they all said: “Wow, this is really Tammy’s fairy tale!” And how to end this magical wedding? With live music, lots of sparklers, and of course… fireworks! A glittering explosion of smiles and tears of joy of Tammy and Kenneth and all their loved ones.

From the Bride: When Kenneth and I started out looking for a Wedding Planner in Phuket, we weren’t aiming for a company with a track record of throwing hundreds of extravagant weddings, but someone who really understood our visions and someone who’s truly dedicated to making our wedding unique for us. Ila stood out from all the planners we’ve met. Her passion of creating beautiful things, tenacity and high-standard personality showed through during our first meeting. Unlike most planners, Ila does not opt for the easy way out for things, she would go the EXTRA EXTRA MILE to ensure the best results. Ila is an artist, and her artist’s persistence defines her works. That’s why there is so much personality in all her work – something others cannot replicate. She truly went above and beyond our expectations.
