We’re heading down South for today’s styled shoot, a dreamy wedding scene in shades of peach. Christine Williams, Peach Tree & Co., and A Unique Boutique put together a photo shoot that blends East and West Coast styles effortlessly, using vintage rentals and a chic wedding gown with sequin accents to tie everything together beautifully.
From the event designer, Genessa of Peach Tree & Co.: I call two places my home — Vancouver and Atlanta, Georgia where my dad lives and where I grew up. For the last few years I have worked with one of the top wedding planning companies here in Vancouver, Dream Group Productions. However, I have always dreamed of owning my own planning company specializing in Southern Weddings, Decor Styling, and DIY. Last fall I ventured on my own and created Peach Tree & Co. I wanted to have a company that connected the West Coast with the South ushering brides down to the South to create Dreamy Plantation weddings, or Brides from the South wanting the West Coast beauty for their wedding. I always knew I wanted to plan and style lavish Charleston soirees, intimate weddings on Myrtle Beach, or magical Savannah weddings.
With this in mind, I created and styled this style shoot to bring the whimsy and ethereal qualities of Southern Weddings to West Coast brides and vendors. I created the concept of the calligraphy design, and place settings, with distressed edges. I wanted the dessert bar to be rustic with delicate details such as lace, and the vanity displaying the desserts. I wanted a open farm time with a floral runner and mismatched china patterns, and pink coupe glasses.
