Slate Gray Wedding Inspiration

Time and again we’re blown away by the beautiful images that come out of photography workshops, just like this one from film photographers extraordinaire Jess Barfield and Taylor Lord. Anne Brookshire Photography happily took part in the day, capturing moments of delicate and sophisticated beauty with some of the prettiest cool blues and grays we’ve seen yet, styled by Lindsey Zamora.

From the stylist, Lindsey Zamora: I was so honored to design and style the summer workshop series by Jess Barfield and Taylor Lord. I am loving the dusty-blue color palette at the moment and even more in love when it is combined with grays and creams. The overall feel for the shoot was soft and romantic, a feeling that would be translated into every element. I loved how the bride’s wrap caught the light so perfectly and the effortless flow of the gauzy linen across the worn table; it is this juxtaposition that I seek out in every design.

She was inspired by the color of slate with blue tints & built the concept from there! I love the mix of soft & modern elements, as well as all the floral pieces that Lindsey foraged from her own backyard.
