Scenic Mt. Hood Organic Farms Wedding
According to the bride, Hannah, she wanted to get married in a beautiful place and we have to agree with her and Jeremy that Mt. Hood Organic Farms is exactly that beautiful place they wanted and more. Maria Lamb Photography showed us all of the stunning farm scenes and how breathtaking they are, along with how effortlessly Whitney Werts Events and Foraged Floral managed to work in designs and blooms that meshed so well with the venue. If Portland looks like this all the time, we may have to make a few trips to catch the beauty!
From the bride, Hannah: In the initial phases of wedding planning, we knew we wanted to get married in a beautiful place, surrounded by the people we love, with good food, Oregon beer, and great music. Our goal was to throw a fabulously beautiful party in celebration of our love! We also knew we were going to need some help to make this happen. We were lucky enough to find Whitney with Whitney Werts Events who has really made all of our wedding dreams come to life! Whitney has helped us make a beautiful event and put us in touch with the most perfect vendors.
Jeremy and Hannah met in college. The two were attending Reed College, Jeremy was a senior and Hannah was a sophomore. With the help of their mutual friend (and now groomsman in the wedding!) Henry, the two went on a date to a tiny little Thai restaurant in SE Portland. There must have been something extra special in the pad thai that evening, because the rest is history.
The Proposal: Hannah is a competitive horse back rider and totally obsessed with horses. Jeremy surprised her with tickets to the world cup of show jumping in Alberta, Canada. They spent the first day of the trip at the horse show, but the next day Jeremy drove them up to Lake Louise (probably one of the most beautiful places ever!) and proposed next to the lake. After Hannah said yes, the two celebrated with lakeside champagne and chocolates.
