Sand and Sea Elopement with Periwinkle Tones
Today’s sand and sea elopement is seemingly otherworldly. There’s an almost tangible sense of serenity from the way romance + nature have converged here, and it’s not hard to believe when you hone in to all the details captured by Bluecat Photography. From the plush Dior chair to the pale hand-tied blooms to the marbled cake bursting with grey crystals, we’re reminded that there is so much beauty in simplicity.
From the stylist, Anna of Oh So Pretty Events & Rentals: There is something about Malibu that is so magical & romantic, so I knew I wanted to do a Bridal Inspired shoot there. I went with a very neutral color palette with pops of pink, blue and black to capture that Ethereal Coastal vibe. I set the table setting on a large rock and kept it nice and minimal with just a few details like the coral candle holder centerpiece & simple place setting with the pretty french blue ribbon from A Ribbon’s Nest tied around the silver flatware. Our Avery chair & Ella table worked perfectly with the dreamy ocean & rock wall setting.
The model wore this beautiful dress from Dreamers & Lovers and a pretty rhinestone headpiece I got from Amazon.com. Nixey Artistry did her hair and make-up & she looked gorgeous. The marble/geode cake that Go Cakes created turned out amazing & looked so beautiful with the ocean background. Love Note Events did a fantastic job on the flowers, my favorite part of using her flowers were on the invitation suite that I created. The pale pink roses coming out of the envelope really added a romantic touch to the whole thing. As the sun was setting, there was a perfect glow & Bluecat Photography was able to bring my Ethereal Coastal inspiration to life by capturing the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen!
