Refined Wedding Ideas with a Monochrome Palette
We love bursts of color as much as the next person, but sometimes it’s nice to bring everything back to the basics and let a monochrome color palette shine through. This was the inspiration behind this beautiful shoot from Purple Tree Photography, Bisous Events, Coyote Flowers, and The Look Bridal, who wanted to create a nearly translucent aesthetic. Trust me, you’re going to love this one:
From the shoot producer and makeup artist, The Look Bridal: Our incredible team of Toronto wedding vendors came together with the idea of an inspiration shoot based on an absence of color. Our collaboration began with the blank canvas space of Berkeley Events’ Airship 37. Set against this locale, our vision for Translucent: an ode to deliberately refined simplicity. A tablescape, dreamy in its unbound space; its carefully curated accents: geometric invitations, marbled backgrounds, smoky ornate ghost chairs, and dramatic florals.
Then, there, among the beauty of her wedding’s details, our bride, her effortless movements through the white-box space. With her undone hair and luminous skin, she carries with her a tone-on-tone bouquet, moving gracefully in space. Every time she looks back at us, the depth and weight of the moment colours her gaze. She lingers in moments of serenity, moments of her own. She reminds us that there is beauty in things being simply what they are.
