Pecan Springs Ranch Wedding

Sometimes there’s just no topping a Texas ranch wedding. Everything about this Pecan Springs ranch wedding has our hearts pitter-pattering, like the color scheme of coral and mint, the flowers by Paige One Events & Production, and that impeccable Jenny Packham gown, of course. Al Gawlik Photography worked wonders here!

From the bride, Alyssa: Benjamin and I envisioned a very intimate and fun wedding day, with the emphasis on everyone being together and the joining of our families. Our color palette was decidedly spring with strong pops of coral and mint with hints of gold as an accent. We have a great love for the outdoors, so we wanted to bring the outdoors inside in an elegant way. We used natural wood elements on all of the tables and for an especially unique cake stand.

Bouquet recipe: Hydrangea, stock, roses, garden roses, ranunculus, astilbe, dahlia, seeded eucalyptus, tulips, baby’s breath, Queen Anne’s lace, scented geranium, snow on the mountain, assorted greenery, snapdragons.

Our color scheme balanced coral and mint with pops of peach and muted pinks. We used gold as an accent to tie together many of the decorative elements. All of the wood table rounds and gorgeous cake stand were all DIY, cut, crafted and varnished by hand.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? The best advice I would give to anyone planning their wedding is to take it one step at a time. At times, wedding planning can seem very overwhelming so it is important to pace yourself. More importantly, I would remind Brides to keep everything in perspective and don’t sweat the small stuff. Your wedding day is about love, friendship, and fun so planning should be too!
