Occasionally, it gets difficult for us to stop staring at a wedding. This couldn’t be more fitting for this Ojai wedding sent to us by Vikki of All You Need is Love Events. Kristin and Josh are one couple clearly smitten with each other, as you’ll easily see from their wedding day pictures. The bride’s blusher veil, her Rivini gown, and the Ojai Valley Inn’s lush grounds are only made that much more beautiful by the prowess of photographers Michael and Anna Costa. From the bride, Kristin: Location was the biggest decision of our wedding because we wanted the feel of the wedding and designs to integrate naturally with our location rather than trying to overlay our ideas onto the venue. We chose the Ojai Valley Inn for the natural beauty, the classic, rustic, and elegant architecture, and exceptional service and food. We chose colors to reflect the beauty of the Ojai Valley and surrounding mountains and the famed Pink Moment when the sun goes down and reflects off the mountains — which we planned for right after the ceremony. Design-wise we went with a classic, vintage feel to match the Spanish Colonial style of the Ojai Valley Inn, built in the 1920s.

The groom wore a dark navy suit and a pale pink button-down made especially for him by Brooks Brothers. The reversible custom bow tie was made for him by Figs, and incorporated the grays, blues, and pinks used elsewhere in the color palette. He bought his brown monk-strap shoes in downtown LA and stressed them to an oxblood color using black shoe polish and a scrub brush. I wore a French lace, strapless Rivini dress with an organza silk empire bow that draped wide all the way down the back past the train. My shoes were covered in Swarovski crystals. My veil was an original half duster in front and back. I borrowed her vintage cream-colored Spanish shawl from my friend and stylist/designer, Allison Leach. I wore a bright blue vintage brooch by Harlow Jewelry, re-appropriated as a necklace.
